Back a few years ago when I started looking at NASA Mars images I read an article by Mike Bara on how to see the real colors in those red tinted images. It was very helpful to me and you might find it helpful also. For some new Mars researchers this might help you like it helped me back then. This does not work on black and white images because the true colors are not embedded in the images, it only works on those red tinted images. Click on Image Then click on "Adjustments" Then click on "Auto Color" You can also click on "Auto Levels"
