Mars Sol 796 – Interesting images with potential anomalies

I noticed that Curiosity made some very interesting photos on Sol 796 (Mastcam) but these are still not available in High Resolution but only as Thumbnails.

Is it normal that there is such a long delay between the posting of thumbnails and high resolution photos ?

I can wait to see the High Resolution Photo of this one for instance :

It was very common with MER (Spirit and Opportunity). They downloaded the thumbnails, and often kept the larger images up on the rover for extended periods waiting for a satellite to come overhead with the bandwidth available to transmit the bigger files back to earth. It's been much less common with Curiosity.
