A great selection of pics and nicely organized too Technovative. However, please, give the source and a little write-up on what you perceive is possibly present in these shots you have posted so well. Some would like to check the originals and find others comparable to get the best overall handle on the scenes presented. This ups the chances of an, at least tentative, concensus of interpretation. What do you think Tech? Cheers /-M

morbius, mouse over the images and click for information. The first 3 images are linked to short articles that I've written sharing my thoughts about the objects, as well as source image details. The remaining images are linked to the source image. I reduced the crop sizes for presentation purposes, anyone who would like to see the full sized crops can right click over the image and select "view image" from the menu. Sol 188 Source Images: The area was also photographed on Sol 136 from a greater distance, different perspective, and poorer lighting conditions.

Thanks Tech .. I see you are already up to speed, but thought to throw out a couple rules of thumb you have covered well. If you feel I have been uppity or such, it was not intended so and I apologize for this.
Your own website reflects a neat and concise presentation which methinks you and Marsrocks both have a nack and training for. Read your article ' Image Processing ' .. impressive, a clear and easy read, to the point and, I believe, an accurate observation and honest appraisal of the NASA agenda, a peeve I have gone over in not a few postings .. quite clearly a major obstacle/challenge in any serious anomaly researching at any level or approach of study. morbius, I appreciate opportunities to communicate with like minded people who share an interest in this subject, such as yourself. So thank you for your friendly attention.
I hope that a discussion about the debris field photographed on Sol 188 will develop here.

Hello Technovative 0188MR1009009000E1_DXXX has piqued my interest somewhat, so will start ' a discussion about the debris field here ' with a prelim study of this ' Martian Roadster ' site of yours. The attached are annotated and should be self-explanatory as such, but will give a short background preview here as well. 1. One of the first items of many that I consider in a pic evaluation, is to determine the type, and extent, of the obfuscation present .. its strengths and weaknesses. This is not readily apparent to the casual observer, but need be taken into consideration for any meaningful analysis of the pic to follow. In this case it was near identical to that present in a post by Ken ' Martian Smithy '. A report which I believe Marsrocks would verify was cleared up with reasonable effectiveness. This, as yours, was a rift or weak spot/application which produced a cave-like appearance where the remnants of the original pic pocked through with some clarity. You have in fact picked out a ' clear area ' Tech .. and a very good call indeed. 2. This, the ' roadster Scene, has been enhanced for detail, thus adjusted for eye-relief and' believability ' as well. I have my perception/s of this scene, but would be interested if you would see any difference here, and might modify, in any way, your given description off the viewing? 3. A simple addendum to this short right-up is presented here, as I believe a couple of birds seem to have managed to get through or( a computer/algorithm glitch?) bypassed the obfuscation/haze present. Hope this gives an alternate insight, awareness, and enjoyment, to a fascinating and serious pastime. Cheers /-M **************************************************************************************************

morbius, I appreciate your participation in analyzing the "Martian Roadster" image. I am convinced that NASA does not release the highest quality data available, to the public. I agree that many Mars rover images appear to have an unnatural looking haze that seems to be dulling out detail. Even with different processing your cropped enlargement still shows the same detail elements that convince me that it is an artificially created object. I am not certain that the object is an analog of an Earth car. I am confident that it is not simply a 'rock' formed by natural processes.
Regarding the blemishes that you picked out of the sky, they can be seen in many Curiosity left mastcam images spaced the same distance from each-other, the same size, and orientation. These most likely are due to contamination or damage to the lens, one of the lens filters, or the CMOS sensor.

Hi Tech, glad you have reconsidered the detailed ' car ' description somewhat, and I agree, these are not simply fortuitous ' rock/s ' or unusual geological formations either. Anomaly researchers are in a strange and precarious position, as they are savy, trained enough, and have that special intuition to discover true anomalies .. but often miss the reality of their finds. We stare at a true connection with ancient, even some modern, artifacts of all sorts, but because of so many variables, we quite often fail to recognize their true identity. I am in this perplexing state often enough when first spotting a potential find. This was the reason I did not previously state or indicate as to exactly what I believed was present .. to avoid influencing others developing views and thoughts on the scenes contents. The attached is just my honest interpretation of what is transpiring and should be self explanatory. Cheers /-M ***************************************************************** You are ' convinced ' of the detail elements present, and this is good Tech, I agree .. we are trusting our own eyes and not what NASA et al wants us to see through them. And Thx for the blemished-bird intel too! ***************************************************************** Attachments:
