Man with metal detector on Mars?

Just under my crudely drawn green arrow:

Here again from PIA16453 we see the image of a man possibly a soldier viewed from the right side and back  standing or walking.

He is holding in his right hand and arm a metal detector or land mine detector  and possibly  a carbine with a shoulder strap.

Wow ! My lord there are two persons, not one.

  Great work Morbius.

  The "soldier" has turned a couple of degrees to face the front and there is an other smaller person in front of him (possibly a child who is also holding a similar device, maybe a toy proximity of the metal detector and toy weapon)  giving the "soldier" his back in your clearer image.

I still see a weapon of some sort on the shoulder of the "soldier" and that strange metal detector or land mine detector device being held.

There is obviously tons of the usual NASA obfuscation going on in this scene.
