This is the image a girl holding a white terrier type dog vertically. We see her right side and she is kneeling and has head turned looking straight into the camera. This image is found on the extreme right side on the PIA 16453 panorama.

Ken - do you have a link to an image that you have uploaded to photobucket?

I put a link up but I don't think it is going to work.
I tried to use Imgur as the image hosting site but I get the same thing as using Photobucket, just a ? in a square box.

Ken .. hello. I know you are having a heck of a time with the uploading and it can be really frustrating, especially to the 1940's croud who aren't up to speed with these new fangled gadgets and protocols. But, if you just follow Marsrocks instructions, and keep at the trying .. it should be just a matter of a short time till your up and running again. Cheers / -M *****************************

Thank you for the encouragement Morbius, maybe I should stick to my Mamiya TLR camera and roll of Kodak Tri X film and forget about these computers ;-)
BTW, I just tried to post the same picture on an unrelated site from Photobucket and it worked just fine.

Ken, First, grab the IMG code of your image by copying it from photobucket (right-click - copy): Next, paste it into your message (right-click - paste): Once you click paste, it will appear like this in your message: After you are finished with your post, click Create Post, as usual. There are other methods also, but that is the easiest.

Ok I will try to do what you said.
The odd thing is that I was now just able to place that same photo on an unrelated site as an experiment and it worked just fine.
I was able to post photos on my threads on this site MA till a few days ago.
I never changed any settings on here MA or on Photobucket.
Odd.

That is odd. Make sure you use the BBC code - and that you are posting into the BBC Code message pane (and not the preview pane. This board uses BBC code - so be sure to grab the BBC code (IMG) from IMGUR:

If you have a direct link to an image - there are a lot more steps in order to convert the direct link (html address) into BBC code: If you've isolated an image at a web address - you can copy and paste that direct link into the board: It will look like this right after you paste it to the message: Take your mouse, and highlight the whole address: Highlight it all the way across by left-click and drag: Now click on the "Image" icon: Then click "Insert Image": It will now look like this (it is now in BBC code): Now, simply click "Create Post":

Great job, Ken!
:D
I'm not sure what happened, but it gave me the chance to describe how this is done to anyone else who hasn't tried this yet.

While I am doing this, let me go ahead and explain how to add an attachment, then I can refer people to this as a helper thread: First, click on "Add Attachment" in the upper right of the posting pane: Click on "add files": Choose a file to upload from your hard drive: Click "open" Click "insert" Then click "Done" After you're done, you simply finish typing your message with your post, and then click on "Create Post."

I like the way you reason Marsrocks.
You certainly did a great job explaining all this to this Luddite. :|
