It seems to be present in all the pictures from that camera - per Polluks animation, so it looks like we'll have bad pixels from a few bad CCDs for the rest of the journey.
With this many angles of the same feature - NASA will be able to use their super resolution software (developed by NASA-Ames) not only to get rid of the bad pixels, but also to give them a more highly focused close up image before they move forward.
I guess we'll see whether they share any super resolution images with the rest of us - here's hoping.
