Hello there! :)
This one is another nice example for past life on Mars. When I saw the picture for the first time, I had not attributed much importance to it. A user called "gforce4039" from another forum had pointed strongly to a strange small structure within an image made by the Mars rover Spirit. In the enlargement, I suddenly realized he was right.

Enlarged image section:
Amazingly is the degree of symmetry, which can be found here. The symmetry axes shows that maybe more than coincidence is here involved.
The two lateral dark holes give the impression of eye sockets and at the front part are apparently two prominent front teeth visible. Of course, such symmetries can also naturally arise by chance. So it could be just a stone. However, what is very amazing, the similarities match with anatomical features of skulls, which we know from small rodents. We can recognize a darker symmetrical recess in the nasal bone area and the back part of the head seems to possess a slightly higher central line feature. The significance of this becomes even clearer if we compare this "Martian skull" directly with skulls of small animals here on earth. The parallels are not to be missed here.
Discoveries like these offer a rare opportunity to apply certain techniques that help to visualize such objects in more tangible and vivid way. With morphing, such objects can be partially rotated and a seemingly three-dimensional depiction can be generated. In this case it is possible because we can see more than half of the front side of the skull. If it were just a side profile view an animation would not be possible. To prepare it for such an animation, we must mark all symmetric reference points and put them in relation to each other.
The pictures show again the astonishing symmetry that lies in this "skull". It wouldn't be possible to create a clean animation, if this high level of symmetry would not exist in the template.
And here we can see the result:
Looking at the whole image, that Spirit had made on Sol 820, then we can concluded that the skull can not be particularly large. Maybe as big as a squirrel head or a rat head. The shown details allow us to map the anatomical features. That makes this find so very interesting
An exact calculation of the sizes we can not deliver at moment, because for a mathematical derivation, we need to know various angle sizes. We just know that the PanCam rests on a rack that is exactly 1.50 m above the ground. But that is not enough. The required Information should exists somewhere, and we have to find out where NASA or JPL have stored this type of data and whether these informations are open to the public. We will see...
Another nice coincidence is that some of our anomalies hunter colleagues also had found skull objects on other images of the Spirit rover:

I think, we can start a collection of these things. :)
The object is small and is very easy to confuse with the other inconspicuous stones in the surrounding area. So it fits the general appearance, that the image was considered above suspicion and has been released for publication. Such puzzle pieces can help us to recognize what is right in front of our eyes. There are certainly much more impressive images of other fossilized animal skulls/bones that has been censored. It obviously belongs to the agenda of NASA to suppress evidences for higher developed life on Mars. Perhaps these are traces of life that may no longer exist today.
