What do you see? (Thanks).

Hi Marsrocks, i want to see anything in this destroyed image, i was looking all the time, but i see nothing, only rocks ?, sometimes something looks as anything, at first i was thinking there is sitting anything, but no. What you think to see there ?

Thanks, knowing, you've answered my question. I expect that most people who look will also see nothing but randomness here, which is a reasonable answer.
I can see various patterns emerge from an otherwise blank sheet of grid paper. So, ... I can pick up on real patterns quickly, and also I am very susceptible to "making sense" of random patterns.
So, this is more or less an experiment for me to see if any patterns that I see - geometric, artistic, or otherwise emerge for anyone else without my giving a suggestion of what I see.
Before I suggest any of the patterns I see, does anyone see any pattern arise from this particular image?
knowing, if you are willing take one more step to help me in this experiment... If you search it again - with the idea this is art - what is the most likely subject of the artwork? If there are geometric patterns within the image, where is the most compelling looking geometric pattern? Your answer can still be "none at all."
Thanks.
After a few days, I'll show what I see as the most likely art - and most likely geometric pattern - though it may well be completely random. Do not take this as a suggestion that there is something there.

Hello Marsrocks, This is my attempt at an interpretation: Marsrocks, can you share a link to the original image?

Cool , Polluks. Yes, I'll put up a link to the original in a few days. But knowing is correct: the image I have up is heavily manipulated. So, I'll put up comparison images between this and the original as well.

Very interesting interpretation, geomeo!

Thanks everyone for your responses. The image I posted is a section of the Crown face - to which I applied a number of filters. I make no claim that the experimental imaging resulted in a valid image.

Here are the geometric patterns I saw in the image. Straight parallel lines, and a rectangular form that appears to have symbols or characters in it: In the white / brightest area - it looks like a man with a shield: (The back of the shield to us).

Geomeo - I had also taken notice of the symbols that you highlighted on the rectangle, and of the strong face marked in the image below: Polluks, I didn't notice any of what you showed until you pointed it out. It's interesting how different people can interpret the same image so differently. Are we all making our own sense out of randomness? Is there something more to it than that? Part of what we are doing, of course, is studying ourselves. I think most people are afraid to do that. We are told not to look for faces and not to look for patterns. And we are in a strange place where our common sense tells us we should do so. On one hand, if we do look for patterns, we know we will always find them, whether they are just patterns we draw from our minds in the randomness, or patterns placed there by others. On the other hand, if we don't look for patterns we will never find evidence of artificiality - whether it exists or not. So, we look. And consider. And move on to try and find something better.

Great post. The Mysteries of Mars... Visual learners or dominate right brain types can easily switch positive to negative for shape recognition. Somewhere in between there is either intuitive viewing, optical viewing and then both. Mars Rocks has great historical recall for artifacts and content. Thanks, would enjoy a repeat. Attachments:

Cool, geomeo. Here is another section I've put up before of the crown face image. The task will be to look for conventional patterns on it. Let's see if any of us see anything in common on it. I'll go first this time with the first response below this, so don't look ahead in this thread unless you want to be potentially influenced.
