Hi, Morbius! Thank you very much for the clarification. When I've tried to understand what kind of device wrecked here, I was confused by the combination of "a face" and obviously the technical details such as a tubes.

I thought I had identified most all the main characters in the pic, but that you spotted the Arab persona, says a lot for you Pollucks, very perceptive call indeed.
Sometimes, at this level of detail, you just have to almost stare the details into submission .. as to what they are, where they belong, etc., Thankfully, for some reason, this is an extraordinary find in its lack of overdone obfuscation present .. quite remarkable, but these are the ones to track down and work most productively with./-M

Pollucks hello, have been looking at your ' weird glitches ' which has now become ' the last try to ' improve ' this glitch '( so far ). Pollucks, there is only so much that can be done, so yes, set high standards for your work, but not to the extent it can't be done or achieved .. no matter what you do or how hard you try. Don't be so hard on yourself and expect to much more than can be expected, else we delve into the surrealistic realm of unrealistic expectations .. and its attendant downsides and frustrations. I know, I drive myself to the limit to resolve and present a plausible view, and even then, because of the protean nature of anomaly research, it can still be awfully iffy at that .. so I shouldn't talk myself .. just my experienced opinion speaking my friend .. for what it's worth. I know we are all trying to make some sense out of this pic, so let's step back a bit and look at the pic from yet another way here, actually the primary concern of the anomaly researcher, and that is an awareness, detection and by-passing or neutralizing to some degree .. of obfuscation. For a competency in research, we just have to catch on to this ( obfuscation ) problem as a first step before getting on to a proper image analysis. Don't look at the pic that appears to be there .. look instead at the pic they don't want you to see .. or else whatever other reason for the obfuscation in the first place?? I hate to keep hollering about ( the word ), but it is everpresent, and yet, turns out to be a manageable, even surmountable challenge we can deal with. And you know what .. methinks such as Skipper would agree too! The attached will demonstrate the many application layers applied here, as well, the darker ( original ) pic areas. Yes, be aware of these layers, but moreso, for productivity, look into the ' caves ' or cleaner areas for a clearer view of what is actually present and, in great degree, can be extracted for analysis, a good summary, and a reasonably competent presentation on the boards. For example, the Arab looking viel or head covering is actually formed by a fortuitous(?)brighter brush-work .. that(then) encloses a clearer(darker) area that then becomes the Arabs ' face '. This is found no less so on Ken's ' Smithy ' pic, where the brighter obfuscation layers thereby create a ' cave '(darker) area to view and work with. A closer view 3/3 shows this 'cave'(darker) area of the Arabic person, and so it is within this, admittedly small, cave/area, that we need contrast, extract, and refine our best information as to the true nature of what is actually being dealt with in this pic. So far so good then my friend? OK then, let's go view some ideas ...and results. /-M **********************************************************

Nice find yeah, I've just posted a video on my board highlighting that specific part.

from youtube Published on Feb 20, 2015 What looks like a reptilian skull on Mars in Gale Crater in this Sol 108 Curiosity Rover image. Could it be carved or is it a skull of a turtle/tortoise or something similar? There are many more similar reptile finds on my channel going right back to 2013. See my playlists. I was ridiculed for suggesting reptiles on Mars back then but now people seem to have come around to the idea. Possibly because of the sheer number of recent Mars finds. The evidence is becoming overwhelming. Full credit to Rami for this one. See link below. First found by Rami Bar llan and first published on YouTube by him on Nov 6, 2014.
